/ What is the difference between Science RXN and Imagine Day?
Science RXN is a special event to celebrate the spirit of the Science community at UBC and take pride in what it means to #BleedBlue. Imagine Day is a welcome orientation geared towards all new to UBC students and the bigger community on campus.
/ Where will Science RXN take place?
Science RXN is a 2-day event. Day 1 will occur throughout various locations on UBC campus and Day 2 will be held at the Vancouver Art Gallery Rooftop Pavilion.
/ What should I wear to Science RXN 2019?
Day 1: You will be provided with a Science RXN Reactant T-Shirt in your RXN Swag Bag! Please wear comfortable bottoms and shoes as you will be participating in various activities across campus.
*Please leave valuables at home. There will not be a secure place to store your valuables.
Day 2: Dress to impress! The dress code will be semi-formal as you will be celebrating Science RXN at the Vancouver Art Gallery Rooftop Pavilion.
*Complimentary coat check will be available on Day 2.
/ What should I bring to Science RXN?
You don’t need to bring anything! Just yourself and your great energy.
/ Will there be food provided?
Yes! You will be provided a light breakfast and a full lunch on Day 1, and a cocktail-style dinner on Day 2.
/ What if I have Day of the Longboat clinics?
Don’t fret, Reactants who are participating in the Day of Longboat clinics will be joining us at lunch.
/ Can non-Science students participate?
No, unfortunately Science RXN is only open to first year students and new transfer students into the Faculty of Science.
